"Impact" was a positivity movement, launched by the Koning Boudewijnstichting. It was designed to inspire young people between 18-25 years from various backgrounds to oppose fatalism and the lack of opportunities for the future. It's aim was to empower them and weigh into their own strengths and skills. Whether that's writing, rapping, dancing, cooking, practicing sports or helping others. On the Impact website you could find inspiring videos and stories of young people, with less fortunate backgrounds, who followed their dreams and succeeded. By giving them a platform they felt acknowledged, while simultaneously they became role models for others.
The style was punk-inspired, very DIY and and ‘in-your-face’, with the fresh green representing youth.
