Exaequo is a Belgian non-profit organisation aiming to promote health, safe sex and to decrease the rate of sexually transmitted infections among men who have sex with men.
2020 called for a fresh look, so we created a new logo and visual identity.
The æ-ligature is made up of 2 of the same characters, merged into 1. The heart wraps around the letters as a protective layer. This could be interpreted as a literal protection from sexual transmitted infections by practicing safe sex, but it also refers to Exaequo as a safe place to talk about sex between men.
Adding a strong dark green to a vibrant and soft lavender pink gives the design a calming and balanced base, while still looking contemporary and fresh.
